Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are promising candidates as thermoelectric materials because of their high electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient. To fabricate a thermoelectric generator (TEG) using SWCNTs, creating n-type regions in a single-piece of SWCNTs (p-type) has been attracting attention, providing joint-free TEG structure without the use of metal electrodes to connect the p-type and n-type region. In this study, a photo base generator (PBG) was newly used as an n-dopant for photo-induced doping and planer-type TEG devices having six p- and n-type series sequences were fabricated by using this method.
