New carbon materials such as graphene have excellent properties and have the potential to revolutionize industry. We reported a simple carbon nano-wall (CNW) growth process with a microwave oven. Here we report (1) the effect of electric field on CNW synthesis and (2) study of nitrogen or boron-doped CNW. We expect that nitrogen or boron substitute carbon atoms and behave as an electron donors or acceptors in the electric conduction of CNW. We expect that carbon plasma tends to agglomerate on the cathode, and nitrogen or boron substitute carbon atoms and behave as an electron donors or acceptors in the electric conduction of CNW.
