In recent years, with the development of iontronics, ions have been utilized to convert mechanical stimuli into electrical signals and various methods of controlling ions have been investigated previously. Further exploration of advanced control method of ions by mechanical stimuli will expand the possibility of iontronics applications that can replace electronics. In this study, we demonstrate a novel sensing method by utilizing the phenomenon that the state of ions in ion gels is controlled by pressure.
