[24p-12G-12]Fabrication of CuFeO2 films by pulsed-laser deposition using targets with Cu(II)

Although delafossite CuMO2 has been considered for a wide range of applications, the range of suitable conditions for thin film synthesis by pulsed-laser deposition is narrow. We have succeeded in producing high quality CuFeO2 thin films by using a targets with Cu(II) at lower pressure. Compositional analysis revealed that the composition of the Cu(I) target was shifted due to residual Cu precursor by the laser ablation.
