When mat-shaped carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are exposed to a gas discharge, dust-like CNT bundles are generated. These bundles can be collected using a DC-biased collector electrode, enabling the fabrication of CNT yarns. However, the achievable yarn length has been limited to approximately 40 mm. In this study, we successfully increased the yarn length by introducing additional discharge electrodes, which enhanced the generation of CNT dust.
