Graphene dots can be formed by locally hydrogen-intercalation at graphene buffer layer grown on a SiC substrate. However, before transporting into the Scanning Tunneling Microscopy apparatus, it was difficult to observe this surface structure as it exposed to air. Therefore, we have focused on the fact that hydrogen-intercalation is thermally reversible. In this study, aimed at graphene dot formation, we investigated about the process of hydrogen determinate from Graphene on H/SiC surface by high-temperature annealing using Scanning Tunneling Microscopy and Spectroscopy.
