In this study, we focus on the possibility that hydrogen intercalation can modify the work function and electronic properties of graphene/SiC by controlling the interfacial state between the SiC substrate and graphene . A precise evaluation of the work function considering hydrogen intercalation is extremely important for understanding the physical properties of graphene on SiC and optimizing device performance. Therefore, this research aims to investigate how hydrogen intercalation affects the work function and electronic states. First-principles calculations based on density functional theory were conducted using the PHASE/0 program package.
