The thermoelectric performance of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNT) in air exhibits P-type characteristics. This characteristic is due to the surface bonding with oxygen molecules. Therefore, the challenge is to maintain stable N-type characteristics for a long period of time. Dimethyldioctadecylammonium chloride (DODMAC) is a cationic surfactant dopant. Previous research has succeeded in long-term stabilization of N-type SWCNT films by using DODMAC. In this experiment, we focused on chlorine-based cationic surfactants. We have carried out long-term stabilization of the N-type thermoelectric performance of SWCNT films in air and evaluated their structures.
