One of the light sources for multiphoton microscopy is an ultrashort pulse laser at 1300 nm wavelength band. In this study, we constructed a fiber laser system with a dispersive wave source using a highly nonlinear fiber and a praseodymium-doped fiber amplifier (PDFA) to achieve high power 1300 nm femtosecond fiber laser by chirped-pulse amplification. We achieved an average output power of 1.33 W and a pulse width of 367 fs by amplifying with a three-stage PDFA.
