In the irradiation port at UTR-KINKI, dose rate distributions of neutron and γ-rays have been measured by using paired ionization chamber. However, since the paired ionization chamber is sensitive to both neutron and γ-rays, the calculated γ-ray dose rate is affected by neutron. In this study, γ-ray dose rate distribution measurements of irradiation port were performed using BeO ceramic TLD, which can discriminate and measure only γ-rays in the neutron field, and were compared with the values from the paired ionization chamber. In this study, the γ-ray dose rate distribution within the irradiation port was measured using BeO ceramic TLD that can discriminate and measure only γ-rays in a neutron field, and the results were compared with those obtained from a paired ionization chamber. Additionally, the thermal neutron fluence distribution was measured using a Li glass scintillator, and the irradiation field characteristics of the irradiation port at UTR-KINKI were evaluated.
