一対のガラス円筒レンズを隙間を挟んで対向させた円筒面ガラスチャネルを用いたイオンビームガイド効果の研究を行った。質量電荷比が同じAr⁴⁺とNe²⁺を同一の加速電圧(2.5kV)で加速したイオンビームを円筒面ガラスチャネルに入射した際の、出射イオンビームの透過特性を調べた。
