As the demand for two-dimensional nanomaterials in biosensors continues to grow, understanding and controlling the interface between biomolecules and sensing materials has become increasingly critical. This study successfully achieved precise control of bio-nano interfaces by employing peptides that self-assemble into monolayers on the surface of two-dimensional nanomaterials. These peptides maintained stable self-assembled structures even under applied electrochemical potentials, paving the way for the development of highly sensitive odor sensors.
