Neuromorphic network-type devices that take advantage of material clutter have been attracting attention in recent years. Electrically conductive polymers have a neural network type structure because they consist of a mixture of electrically conductive grains and surrounding insulating portions. In order to apply such a system as a neuromorphic device, 1. nonlinear electrical properties and 2. conduction path dependence are required. By using the ratio of the conjugate length to the effective gap length as a parameter, it was found that it is possible to evaluate the neuromorphic function including the above 1 and 2 properties.
