We propose a device to assist and substitute the finger movement function for patients with finger motor dysfunction, using TiNi alloy wires. We designed a mechanism that converts the contraction force generated by the heating of the TiNi alloy wire into a bending force. We measured and evaluated the resulting bending force. As a result, we found that by combining two to three wires, we can obtain a bending force equivalent to that of a healthy person's fingers.
