Li1.3Nb0.3M0.4O2 (M: 3d transition metal) with a disordered rock salt-type structure has been investigated as a positive electrode material for lithium ion batteries. It is also known that there are local cation orderings in this material, but the atomic arrangement of the cation is not well understood. In this study, we focused on Li1.3Nb0.3M0.4O2 (M = Fe, etc.) and investigated its electrode properties and atomic arrangement by analyzing total scattering data. The topological analysis based on persistent homology was performed on the obtained atomic arrangement, and the cluster structure was investigated.
