Pb halide perovskite compounds are amphoteric semiconductors with high carrier mobility, long carrier diffusion length, and high defect tolerance. However, since the compound contains highly toxic Pb, research is underway to develop and apply new Pb-free metal halide perovskite compound semiconductor materials.
In this study, MAGeI3 single crystals were synthesized and their electronic properties were characterized in order to experimentally elucidate the electronic properties of halide Ge perovskite compound semiconductors.
