Spiro-OMeTAD is mainly used as the hole transport layer in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). While it exhibits high conductivity by the addition of dopants, its low durability due to the hygroscopic nature of dopants is an issue. π-Conjugated polymers are expected as an alternative. In this study, we synthesized two-types of conjugated polymers, poly[3-(6-bromohexyl)thiophene]-b-poly(3-hexylthiophene) and poly(3-hexylthiophene), and used for the hole transporting layer. The effect of Br substituents on the crystal structure and the power generation characteristics of PSCs was investigated.
