Keywords:

optical manipulation,triplet-triplet annihilation,optical resonance effect

Since Ashkin's pioneering research, improving the efficiency of optical manipulation has been actively studied. It has been reported that the long lifetime of triplet states enhances the optical resonance effect, while an increase in light intensity leads to saturation of triplet-state electron populations and a subsequent decrease in optical force. In this study, we hypothesize that this phenomenon is caused by triplet-triplet annihilation and present a theoretical explanation for the reduction in optical force, along with new insights for improving the efficiency of optical manipulation.
