This research aims to control the orientation of lead halide perovskite (composition formula: CH3NH3PbI3, MAPbI3) which has attracted much attention in recent years as photoactive layer for solar cells. We focused on the heteroepitaxial growth on rubrene and fabricated MAPbI3 film on rubrene/pentacene. Grazing incidence wide angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) measurement revealed that rubrene/pentacene can control out-of-plane orientation of MAPbI3.
