In recent years, the performance of organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices has significantly improved. However, further enhancement requires a deeper understanding of exciton and charge behavior. This study focuses on OPVs with a pn planer stacked structure and investigates the impact of charge accumulation on power generation characteristics using the displacement current measurement (DCM) method. The results indicate that the J-V characteristics and fill factor (FF) vary depending on the acceptor material, with suppressed charge accumulation contributing to improved performance. Notably, devices using B4PyMPM as the acceptor showed no charge accumulation and achieved a high FF.
