[15p-K203-3]Low-temperature, low-damage surface modification using synchrotron radiation

〇Kazuhiro Kanda1 (1.LASTI, Univ. Hyogo)

Keywords:

surface modification,synchrotron radiation

Surface modification using soft X-ray synchrotron radiation is known as a low-temperature and low-damage process that can produce bond breaking and ionization with high efficiency by using core-electron excitation with a large reaction cross section, and unique functional surfaces can be created by using the photoexcitation process as a surface treatment method. Examples of surface modification using soft X-ray synchrotron radiation, such as controlling the surface wettability of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) only by setting the substrate temperature and several other examples of surface modification studies will be presented.
