In this study, we attempted to prepare samples with a reduced Ni composition ratio (x≠0) in order to increase ZT of the P-type thermoelectric material TiNi1-x-yCoySn. The samples were prepared by arc melting method and heat treatment. Thermoelectric properties were measured in the temperature range from 80 to 800 K. The results show that ρ decreases as x increases. And |S| was maintained up to a certain x. The result, the increase of the power factor was observed. The increase in ZT compared to that for the stoichiometric composition (x=0) shows that a constant decrease in the Ni composition ratio (x≠0) is effective in increasing the ZT.
