High-quality quantum state generation is crucial for realizing advanced quantum information processing. While quantum state tomography is generally used to evaluate the quality of quantum states, it is difficult to directly infer the error factors because various errors are all compressed into a single density matrix. In this work, we used a time-bin entangled photon pair generation experiment as a case study and performed autonomous estimation of the error factors that reproduce the experimental results by combining simulation and parameter optimization technique.
