Color-conversion device that combines blue-emitting InGaN LEDs and green/red perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) only injects current into the chemically stable nitride semiconductor. Therefore, the degradation of the PNCs can be suppressed, leading to high-stability and high-brightness luminescence. In this study, we demonstrated a green-conversion LED with an external quantum efficiency of ~20% by combining polymer-binder-dispersed CsPbBr3 NCs on a blue-emitting InGaN LED. We succeeded in achieving a device half-lifetime of over 480 h. In addition, we achieved a luminance (2.5 × 105 cd/m2) that exceeded high dynamic range (HDR) at rated current.
