Recently, Hanbury Brown–Twiss (HBT) interferometry has been introduced into cathodoluminescence (CL), which allows the measurement of photon number statistics specific to electron beam excitation. Photon bunching observed in HBT-CL allows the evaluation of excitation efficiency in addition to lifetime measurements. In this study, the light emission enhancement of halide perovskite thin films by resonators was quantitatively evaluated using HBT-CL. The experimental sample used is a combination of a halide perovskite thin film and a plasmonic resonator array.
