While the application of generative AI in scientific research has become widely recognized, its introduction is still in the early stages in many other research fields, one of which is nanophotonics. To launch on nanophotonics research using generative AI, we have constructed a new framework for generative AI specialized for nanophotonics by extracting information contained in texts and figures from a large number of nanophotonics-related papers and by generating its metadata in order to suppress hallucinations.
