REBCO melt-grown bulks are expected to be applied as powerful magnets. We have previously developed and reported the SDMG method, which enables the fabrication of melt-grown bulks entirely consisting of the wholly c-grown region. Potential applications of REBCO bulks include magnetic levitation in liquid nitrogen immersion as well as high magnetic field applications at intermediate to low temperatures below 60 K, such as for bulk-NMR. In this study, we quantitatively evaluated the critical current density Jc as a function of temperature and magnetic field, and discussed its correlation with trapped magnetic field characteristics at intermediate to low temperatures.
