本研究では、PVSK/SHJ型タンデム太陽電池の中間層TCOへの応用を目的に、RFスパッタリング法により低温製膜したAZOの電気特性及び光学特性を評価した。結果、成膜条件を適切に調整することで、中間層TCOに応用可能な程度の電子移動度、従来使用されてきたITOを大幅に上回る近赤外線透過率を持つことが示唆され、PVSK/SHJ太陽電池の中間層TCOへの応用が期待される結果となった。
