In Schottky-type CdTe detectors, studies using Cu electrodes have suggested long-term instability in the junction between the electrode and the CdTe bulk. In this study, we fabricated Schottky-type CdTe detectors using Ag electrodes instead of Cu electrodes and evaluated their characteristics. The fabricated detectors exhibited Fermi level pinning after electrical aging, resulting in reduced leakage current comparable to that of conventional Schottky-type detectors.
