In recent years, research utilizing plasmonic structures for photoelectron emission has progressed, with potential applications in novel electron sources and hot electron generation. This study observed the enhancement of multiphoton photoelectron emission from the edge and bulk regions of gold triangular lattice plasmonic crystals (Au PlC). It demonstrated the control of action spectra and lifetime extension through lattice constants. Additionally, time-resolved photoemission electron microscopy (TR-PEEM) experiments analyzed the coherence lifetimes near the resonance wavelength of edge modes, confirming an extension to 5–28 fs, exceeding the typical values for Au localized surface plasmons.
