We are considering the installation of our transition-edge sensor (TES) microcalorimeter on the Electron Beam Ion Trap (EBIT) to enable precise measurements of plasma emission lines. One of the primary challenges lies in the degradation of energy resolution caused by the strong magnetic field of the EBIT, as well as the reduction of X-ray focusing efficiency due to steps taken to reduce the magnetic field. In this presentation, we report on the feasibility of integrating our TES microcalorimeter into the EBIT setup, presenting simulation results of magnetic shielding using finite element analysis, along with proposed improvements to the detector design aimed at enhancing the focusing efficiency.
