Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), a ferroelectric polymer, has several crystalline phases. To use PVDF as a ferroelectric polymer, structural control from the type-II crystal phase to the type-I crystal phase is necessary. In this study, we investigated the structural control of PVDF films using a high-boiling point amphiphilic solvent. In addition, films prepared using high-boiling-point amphiphilic solvents were uniaxially stretched. The structural and ferroelectric properties of the PVDF films were also evaluated.
