Using molecular beam epitaxy, Mg3Sb2 and Mg3Bi2 thin films, as well as Mg3Sb2/Mg3Bi2 superlattice structures, were fabricated, and their structural and electrical properties were evaluated. Mg3Sb2 exhibited semiconductor behavior, Mg3Bi2 showed semimetal behavior, and in the superlattice, Mg3Bi2 layers dominated carrier conduction. These structural characteristics were discussed in detail using pole figures and reciprocal space mapping.
