The electric field is one of the fundamental parameters in plasma research. Our laboratory has developed a highly sensitive electric field measurement technique suitable for high-pressure environments, called electric field-induced coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering in visible ragion (E-CARSv). In this study, with a focus on application to near-atmospheric-pressure water-containing plasmas, we newly employed water molecules as the probe and successfully induced E-CARSv under electrostatic fields in a pure water vapor environment.
