Keywords:

plasmon,immunosensor,exosome

Exosomes (Extracellular vesicles :EV) secreted from cells include various proteins, and it is possible to predict the diseases that will afflict in the future.
However, it is difficult to detect a single Ev with about 100 nm diameter with an optical macroscope.
In our laboratory, a single Ev was detected by fluorescence microscopy using a plasmonic chip with wavelength size periodic structures covered with a metallic film.
In this study, Evs were analyzed with a plasmonic chip immobilized with a capture antibody for CD326 (EpCAM), a cancer marker.
