NVセンターは、常温大気圧下で高感度な磁場センサとして利用できる。本研究では、Ni異方性エッチングを用いて(001)ダイヤモンド基板上に4つの{111}側面を有する逆ピラミッド型ホールを作製し、その上にCVD成長を施すことで、1基板上で4方向に高配向なNVサンプルを作製した。また加工手法や成長条件の異なるサンプルと比較することで、それらがNVセンターの特性に与える影響を分析した。
