[17a-P01-18]Carrier filtering effect in the body-centered tetragonal oxide Sr2RuO4

Recently, it has been theoretically proposed that a large thermopower may be induced by strong electron-hole asymmetry of their velocities due to a unique band structure in the body-centered tetragonal systems. Here, we have examined such effect in the body-centered tetragonal oxide Sr2RuO4, and find a large thermopower exceeding the value of the conventional high-temperature limit expected from the Heikes formula.
