This study examined neural encoder using Dual Gate PN-Body Tied SOI-FET. This device with an additional second gate terminal was used to reduce the input voltage compared to conventional device. When a resistor was connected to the body terminal of the device and a non-spiking signal was input, the output drain current was output with a spike waveform. Since the spike frequency varied with the input voltage value, we consider that the device functions as a neural encoder.
