To enhance the performance of non-enzymatic electrochemical glucose sensors, we developed a composite electrode material using copper nanoparticles (CuNP) and polyaniline (PANI) with the aid of a Cu-EDTA complex. In this study,we focused on controlling the uniform dispersion of CuNP through the electrochemical doping of PANI. A PANI-coated platinum plate was fabricated via electrochemical polymerization, followed by electrodeposition of Cu using the Cu-EDTA complex as the copper source to prepare the CuNP/PANI electrode. Cyclic voltammetry measurements confirmed that the CuNP/PANI electrode exhibits high electrocatalytic activity for glucose electrooxidation.
