High temporal resolution, as well as high spatial resolution, of electron microscopy is required for studying dynamic structure changes of materials. However, temporal resolution higher than TV rate (30 frames/second) is still difficult for electron microscopy. This is due to quantum noise. Our challenge is to overcome this fundamental problem to develop Atomic Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy with Information Science (ARTEMIS). In our preliminary experiment we achieved temporal resolution higher than 3000 frames/second.
