We fabricated a sensor device incorporating a molecular template into MoS2 and evaluated its performance. We synthesized MoS2 incorporating a template for the neurotransmitter dopamine (DA) molecules and combined it with a microfluidic channel to operate as a sensor device. In the MoS2 sample hydrothermally synthesized with added DA, the signal increased only while DA molecules were flowing through the channel. Furthermore, increasing the DA concentration flowing through the channel showed a tendency for the signal intensity to increase.
