Event Outline
Engineering Education that Fosters Convergence Knowledge
The purpose of engineering is to develop technologies that benefit the global community. The purpose of engineering is not only to pursue cutting-edge science and technology, but also to address the issues at hand by making science and technology useful to people and society, with an emphasis on the human mind, the environment, safety, social, economic, and sustainability. To this end, it is essential to educate students to be interested in the humanities and social sciences in addition to the natural sciences related to their field of specialization, and to foster the ability to use this knowledge to identify and solve problems on their own. We would like to discuss new developments in engineering education at engineering universities and colleges of technology, from liberal arts education to specialized education and recurrent education, in order to expand specialized knowledge and to foster and utilize comprehensive knowledge.
This year's conference will be held in the form of oral and poster presentations. In addition, we will accept recorded presentations via the conference website. If there are not enough applications for posters, oral presentations will be organized. No real-time streaming will be available.
