A practical English conversation course aimed at fostering the ability to engage in smooth, everyday communication was launched as part of the university-wide general education curriculum at Tohoku University, targeting first- and second-year undergraduate students. The primary objective of the course is to support students in developing interpersonal networks. This paper outlines the instructional plan for the course conducted in the first semester of the 2025 academic year.
