本研究では，工業高等専門学校専攻科1年で半期に渡って実施した「技術工学とアメリカ文学」をテーマにした英語の授業について報告，論究する．とりわけ本発表では，英語教育からではなく技術工学の発展史という観点から，題材と方法，効果について論じる．
