The Best Presentation Award for Young Researchers (hereinafter referred to as “BPA”) is established to encourage young researchers to improve their deep understanding of their research topics, insights and presentation skills.

 

Presentations will be made by candidates selected by the Program Committee from among young members of the Japanese Society for Parasitology who have never received a BPA award and who wish to present at the BPA Selection Committee.

Voting will be conducted by the members of the audience who have listened to the presentations and Q&A sessions of all the candidates, and the vote will be opened in the presence of the Program Committee Chair and the Director in charge of the Program Committee to select the award winners. Selection of the award winners will be based on the votes of all members of the audience, so please make sure that your presentation is clear to all.

 

(1) The objectives of the research must be presented clearly and in an easy-to-understand manner.

(2) The research methods used to achieve the objectives are appropriate.

(3) The conclusions drawn should be valid

(4) The research results must be novel, original, and practical.

(5) The research results must be explained in an easy-to-understand manner within the time limit.

(6) Differentiation from previous research should be presented in an easy-to-understand manner

(7) The contribution of the presenter should be sufficiently clear.

 

The winners will be announced and presented with their certificates by the President of the BPA Judging Committee during the banquet on the first day of the conference.
