筑波大学第一学群卒業、筑波大学大学院体育研究科修了、筑波大学大学院人間総合科学研究科修了、博士（スポーツ医学）。早稲田大学スポーツ科学学術院助手、筑波大学スポーツR&Dコア研究員、独立行政法人日本スポーツ振興センター研究員・先任研究員を経て同センター副主任研究員。筑波大学体育系准教授（連携大学院）。
