Current state and improvement of university students' lifestyle behaviors

「早寝早起き朝ごはん」などの良好な生活習慣が子どもたちの健やかな成長に重要であることは、以前より指摘されてきた。このような良好な生活行動が健全な心身の健康に及ぼす影響は小児期のみならず、生涯にわたる健康づくりにおいて重要である。しかし、これまでの生活行動は、家庭や個人の嗜好性の問題として捉えられ、見過ごされてきた経緯がある。24時間社会と呼ばれる現代社会において、インターネットやスマートフォンの普及、長時間の座位行動や長時間勤務、社会生活の夜型化に伴う朝食欠食や概日リズムの乱れなどの社会的な背景から、良好な生活行動の獲得・修復が心身の健康づくりに有益であることは全世代における共通の健康問題として認識されている。本シンポジウムは「子どもから高齢者の健康づくりのための生活行動を再考する」をテーマに掲げた。八木田氏には「部活動や塾など放課後の過密化が指摘される高校生を対象にした健康づくり」について、西村氏には「生活行動の悪化が指摘される大学生の生活行動と健康づくり」について、道下氏には「不規則な生活行動を強いられるシフトワーカーの健康づくり」について、吉村氏には「比較的時間的余裕が生じる高齢者を対象にした健康づくり」についてのご講演を企画した。本シンポジウムを通して、良好な生活行動の獲得・修復を社会全体の課題として捉え、誰一人取り残さない健康づくりの実現のためにライフコースアプローチを踏まえた自然と健康になれる環境づくりについて、参加者と一緒に考える機会としたい。
