1992年、東北大学医学部卒業、外科研修医
1995年、東北大学医学部第2外科入局
1996年、公衆衛生学教室に出向（乳がん検診の有効性評価）
1998年、仙台市に異動（救急医療、感染症対策）
2005年、東北大学に異動（医師不足問題）
2015年、宮城県立がんセンター研究所に着任、宮城県がん登録室長を兼務
