[1P23]Ionic liquid-mediated epitaxy of CH3NH3PbI3 films

The organic-inorganic perovskite material CH3NH3PbI3(MAPbI3) is attracting many attentions as a material for next-generation solar cells. The synthesis of MAPbI3 films presents challenges due to the extremely high vapor pressure of MAI, where evaporation leads to the precipitation of the PbI2 phase and the degradation of film properties. Aiming to suppress MAI evaporation, we focused on a thin-film fabrication process utilizing an ionic liquid and attempted to achieve high crystallinity in MAPbI3 thin films.
