Vacuum metrology is no longer limited to providing traceable calibration services but has become an essential infrastructure supporting scientific discovery, technological innovation, and industrial competitiveness. By integrating primary standards, rarefied gas physics, numerical simulation, and application-driven research, NIMT is establishing a national vacuum metrology platform that bridges fundamental measurement science with practical engineering applications. Through continued collaboration with international metrology institutes and the vacuum science community, NIMT aims to contribute to the advancement of vacuum science while supporting Thailand's transition toward future industries based on semiconductors, aerospace, clean energy, quantum technologies, and other high-value manufacturing sectors.
